I make complex data and processes usable — for people who are not IT specialists.
I design data models that bring scattered domain knowledge into one place — a shared schema, an application on top of it, and departments that can work without going through IT. Recurring document workflows run automatically; where unstructured text has to become structured fields, with AI support. Plus the layer underneath: servers, infrastructure, IT security.
I open up spatial data from inconsistent sources — analogue records, sector cadastres, LiDAR and terrain models — and turn them into coherent, queryable holdings. Spatial analysis builds on that: site assessment, route and location finding, questions of visibility and reach.
I take on multi-stage technical procedures with many parties and long timelines, and make them manageable: uniform workflows instead of one-off solutions, traceable documentation instead of scattered mailboxes. A procedure that depends on one person's knowledge becomes one a team can run.
Background
My path is an unusual one: archaeology first, then a master's in Digital Humanities with a focus on spatial data analysis — today Geospatial & Grid Access Manager in the energy sector. What both fields share is the same craft: building a dependable model out of patchy, inconsistent information, carrying its uncertainties rather than smoothing them away — and translating domain knowledge into systems teams can run on their own.
